I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

Trigger warning, since the article is about the recent murder of a gay teenager. The whole article's pretty upsetting.

Bright side: At least they all thought he was guilty? Could've been worse... :/

The school administration has been accused of being more concerned about defending King's civil rights than recognizing that his behavior and what he wore -- high heels, makeup and feminine clothing -- made other students uncomfortable.

Oh-fucking-no, NOT MAKING STUDENTS UNCOMFORTABLE!

Even better.

Strange that this article did not cover more of the sexual harassment that was occuring toward McInerney BY King. It was well documented that King singled out McInerney to taunt. McInerney was obviously very disturbed by King and complaints were made to the school by more than one child that King was making sexual comments, gestures and advances to other boys.

It's like a fucking parade of victim blaming. For a goddamn fifteen year old.

If it was a girl and she was raped instead of killed, she would have been Asking for it.

Fucking seriously. I wish we could live in a world where, when violent crimes are committed against people, the public responds with "Wow, that's fucking horrible" rather than "Well, we don't know the WHOLE story..."

You don't fucking excuse away two gunshot wounds to the back of a fifteen year old child's head.

damn it! in my speech class two years ago, my topic was on hatecrimes and i covered larry king's story. i always wondered what happened to the kid who killed him, but i just figured he was found guilty because, y'know, he shot him in the head in front of an entire classroom.

Yeah, that seems like it would be pretty fucking indisputable.

Well, fuck. I guess one of the reason this is taking so long is because of the age factor.

A 14 year old knows that killing is wrong. And the consequences for it. He shouldn't get away simply because he was 14 years old at the time.

And it's obviously a hate crime.
