Writer's Block: The state of perception

[Error: unknown template qotd]Eh, I could probably live without smell. Losing either sight or sound would suck for me as a music/movie buff, I love food too much to give up taste, and I love sex waaaaay too much to give up touch.

Not being able to smell my wife's delicious cooking again would be heartbreaking, admittedly. BUT AT LEAST I COULD STILL TASTE IT.

TWO MINUTES SEARCHING ON GOOGLE HAS TOLD ME YES (sorta).

"The tongue will still determine certain flavours etc. but without a sense of smell there is significant degradation of the ability to distinguish between some foods of similar texture."
